We are quite a specialized event company, offering all of our workshops from our in-house team. Our background as professional teachers allows us to design engaging and inspiring learning experiences, which is what we do best. With a focus on ESEA cultures and heritages that define our identity, we are unique in London. We are glad to collaborate with more companies to promote culture awareness and diversity.
On our public events page, we offer two types of events. The first type is exclusive to our language school students, where registration is required and tickets cannot be purchased. The second type consists of public events that are open to everyone, with tickets available for purchase through the Eventbrite link provided.
Our primary clients for events are companies looking to celebrate cultural diversity within their workforce through festive celebrations or arts and crafts workshop like Kintsugi. These bespoke events typically blend cultural learning, food tastings, and arts and crafts workshops together. After thorough communication about your ideas, we will provide a tailored event proposal.
We refer to our cooking classes as food workshops because, unlike traditional classes, they require no washing, chopping, or frying. Instead, these workshops bring people together like family, emphasizing the connection between food and culture. Participants learn not only the stories behind the dishes but also how to savor the flavors they create. Our sessions can be hosted at your company office or at our event venue in Aldgate East.
The team at Dear Asia are tea connoisseurs, which is why we often incorporate tea tasting into our corporate events. While we’re all familiar with coffee, our mission is to educate more people about the various types of tea and how to appreciate Asian tea culture.
We aim to expand our craft workshops to the public as we grow our team. Currently, these specially designed workshops are only hirable by company teams. As professional educators, we excel at crafting a learning experience that is both inspiring and memorable.
Yes, Dear Asia is also a renowned Mahjong school in London. You can explore our regular tutorial workshops and Just Play sessions by visiting our dedicated Mahjong website here.
While the best way to apply for our job vacancies is through Indeed, we don’t want to miss out on any potential talent who feels they’re a great fit for our team. We aim to collaborate with ESEA artisans to showcase more arts and crafts, as well as food lovers or chefs eager to share their unique recipes. At Dear Asia, we’re happy to provide the space and platform to help you connect with the right audience.
