This vibrant and joyful occasion is not only a time to give thanks for the bountiful harvest but also an opportunity for families and communities to come together\, share stories\, and create lasting memories.   \n\n\n\nKoreans celebrate Chuseok by making special foods\, particularly a certain kind of rice cake called songpyeon. Songpyeon is made with finely ground new rice and the dough is kneaded into small round shapes and filled with sesame seeds\, chestnuts\, red beans\, or other similar ingredients. Koreans traditionally give thanks for the harvest and make songpyeon with the new rice from that years’ crop. The act of shaping and sharing Songpyeon symbolizes unity and togetherness.  \n\n\n\nJoin us as we pay homage to Chuseok’s rich traditions\, focusing on two of its most cherished elements: Korean Songpyeon and Tea. As we gather for the tea & delicious Songpyeon tasting\, let us celebrate Korean traditions and culture\, the unity it fosters within the our community and beyond.
